About Us
The Beginning of OTF
"Good fences make good neighbors" and they also inspire good ideas. Our neighbor's summertime flowers growing along an old iron fence between us looked so great that we had to take pictures. Soon we began taking pictures in our garden and in the woods and fields around our house and, thanks to the inspiration of our friend Sheri, we began using them on note cards to send to friends.
After many appreciative comments, a few "Can we buy some?", we began to think about selling our cards. We are fortunate to have an internet-savvy brother-in-law who offered to develop this website in exchange for a couple of bars of chocolate. Without his help, Over the Fence Cards would not have been born. So a big thanks to him and to all of our family and friends who have encouraged us along the way!
